JOHN FERRY, LOS ANGELES
John Ferry began his career at the intersection of art and technology. A graduate of CalArts with a focus in digital arts and creative production, he built a foundation in 3D visualization, sound design, and visual storytelling, combining technical execution with strong conceptual thinking.
During his senior year at CalArts, John founded Metri 3D, a photoscanning and 3D asset company focused on helping businesses digitize physical products and environments. Metri was selected as one of a small group of ventures awarded funding through the school’s entrepreneurship program. Leading the company while finishing his degree gave John early experience in product development, client strategy, and building technical systems from the ground up.
He later joined 3D SaaS startup ALL3D, where he became Head of Marketing. He operated as the company’s marketing lead, building product launch strategy, sales decks, and go-to-market materials while shaping the brand’s positioning across web, social, email, and trade events. He developed AI-driven content workflows, launched the company’s community ecosystem, ran paid acquisition tests, and helped define the narrative around ALL3D as an AI imaging platform for ecommerce teams. His role combined strategy, execution, creative direction, and systems thinking.
Alongside his in-house work, John built Sferra, a marketing and creative studio focused on helping brands adapt to how people buy today. Through Sferra, he has led consulting and creative engagements for organizations including University of La Verne, Red Sea Media, and Larsen’s Restaurants. His work has ranged from brand perception research and marketing strategy to content development, AI-assisted production systems, and full-funnel campaign execution across hospitality, technology, and consumer brands.
John’s work sits at the convergence of creative direction, product marketing, and AI-enabled workflows. He focuses on building scalable systems rather than one-off campaigns, helping teams launch faster, present more clearly, and compete in a visually driven, technology-first market.
